Tuesday, the band did us one better, announcing a series of New York City shows during which they will perform both of their debut releases in full. Pixies are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their first-ever release-eight-track mini-album/EP Come On Pilgrim, originally put out in 1987, and soon followed by their acclaimed debut full-length, 1988’s Surfer Rosa-by reissuing both releases as Come On Pilgrim…It’s Surfer Rosa, out on Sept.
